SUPER GT is the top level of sportscar racing in Japan, with two classes, GT500 and GT300 battling on the country's best race tracks, including Fuji Speedway, Suzuka Circuit and more. NISMO has been ever-present in SUPER GT and its predecessor, the All Japan Grand Touring Car Championship, since 1993, entering cars such as the Skyline GT-R, 350Z, Fairlady Z, GT-R and the new-for-2022 Nissan Z.
After finishing on the podium in its debut SUPER GT race in April 2022, the Nissan Z powered Kazuki Hiramine and Bertrand Baguette of Team Impul to the GT500 title. NISMO also took the GT300 championship, with Kondo Racing’s Kiyoto Fujinami and João Paulo de Oliveira finishing on top in the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3.
